• If you have not submitted a video, information can be found on the traditional site here.
• For all who have submitted videos, I have sent a confirmation email to you. If you did not receive a confirmation email, email Wayne Bovenschen at wayne.bovenschen@okstate.edu
• Final in-person audition dates are April 27 and May 4 (by invitation from first round video submission)
*** READ EVERYTHING BELOW VERY CAREFULLY ***
Below is the updated list of potential drumline members invited to audition for 2024 based on first round video submissions. If you are still planning to audition for the 2024 OSU Marching Percussion Ensemble, please email Wayne Bovenschen ASAP!!!! It's not too late but close - final results will be announced on May 4th.

BRING WATER JUGS AND SUNSCREEN!!!! We will be outside (weather permitting).
*** Potential numbers: Snares 9-10; Tenors 5-6; Basses 7; Cymbals 8; Front Ens 9 ***
*** UPDATE Friday, May 3, 2024 10:54 PM ***
The first live audition was a great day - minus the early ending do to weather. Tomorrow may be more of the same. We will still meet at 9:00 at the Seretean Center, room 123. At that time we will make the decision to either go outside or move to the Greenwood School of Music (we have rooms 101, 110, and 108 reserved).
Schedule:
9:00 - meet in room 123
9:30 - Full Ensemble (Bartlett)
10:00 - Subs
12:00 - LUNCH
1:30 - Subs
2:30 - Full Ensemble
3:30 - Final meeting and results
I wish I could have answered more texts and emails - I tried but there were just too many this week. My advice to everyone - if you received any instruction on technique or style - either as a group or individually - make the adjustments to the best of your ability. Snares and trenors - lower inner beats and full accents. Basses - remember the technique changes that Carson described at the beginning of subs. Cymbals - I didn't get to see you due to the weather so whatever Kayla said! Front Ensemble - to be simple and honest - more right notes!
SEE YOU ALL SATURDAY MORNING!!!!
GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!!!
